1:1 Business Coaching vs. Group Coaching. Which is Better?

You get to pick between 1:1 business coaching, which provides support that’s unique to you and your situation, and group coaching, which gives you the energy and community of a group of like-minded business owners and leaders. Both approaches have advantages. 

Why 1:1 Coaching?

One-on-one coaching is uniquely about you and your company – your vision, your team, your money, your time, your operation and your future. Your coach will help you get clear on where you’re headed and why that matters in your life. You’ll have a confidential and private space to discuss tough issues without judgement. Your coach will hold you accountable to executing on your plan.

Most companies with more than $1M in sales and at least 3 employees find the one-on-one approach lets you move farther, faster.  For companies looking to transition – pass down to the next generation of family members or employees, or sell as part of your wealth plan – one-on-one coaching is a must so your succession and transition goes smoothly and you get the best offer for your company.

Investment levels are based on your number of employees and the scope of your program, but generally fall in the 2650 to 10,400 per month. There will be some upfront work to get your momentum going, but this coaching will pay for itself over time. Our one-one-one clients have been with us, on average, for 8 years or more.

Why Group Coaching?

If you like the energy and idea-sharing and relationships that come from being in a group, like a mastermind, then you will love group coaching. You’ll cover every single area of your business that you need in order to grow in a group format. And while you’ll be learning the tools and concepts together, you will be able to choose purely group-level participation, or some one-on-one level support depending on the program that you choose.

If you own a smaller business or are a team member who’s hungry to grow, group coaching can be a game changer. We have both Business Group Coaching (ProfitCLUB Foundation and ProfitCLUB Accelerator) and Emerging Leaders Group Coaching, so pick whether you want to focus on your professional development or your business’s growth. If you’re not sure we can guide you to the right one for you. Investments in group coaching programs range from 399 – 995/month, and most companies are in those programs for several years before graduating up to one-on-one.

Which Approach is Better?

Both approaches work extremely well. On average, one-on-one clients experience a 4-to-1 return on their coaching investment, and group clients experience a 3-to-1 return. Your business gives you a WAY better return annual than the stock market!
